Maybe... Do you play any games, where your video card really stinks? Do you do some high end graphics, where the colors are unclear, or your monitor's highest resolution can't be displayed? Do you want Movies on your computer, where it isn't as good as a TV set?
For basic stuff, your regular video card is just fine. If it ain't broke, don't FIX it.
Good luck and Happy Computing!

hell yes, think of it this way, 32mb is nothing. Get the standard something 256mb or even if your cheap go to 128mb.
with a higher bit rate buffer, and more pipelines , you can really showcase what a movie, game, is supposed to be.
32mb is old, must be 5 - 6 years old huh?
I would definilty recommend, NVIDIA --- www.nvidia.com
Get a Geforce 6800 if your looking for something mid range around $100, or so. Or if you want to do what i did, go for the nice stuff in the 7 series.
Trust me man, replace that thing

the clarification why it isn't driver/hardware failure: This guy has been operating tremendous inclusive of his notebook til in simple terms presently he receives a bsod on initiate up.... this can be a pandemic. there is not something incorrect with your hardware... Granted it ought to remotely be plausible that your VGA did overheat and die (out of no the position) yet this can require the consumer to both have overclocked it or for defective hardware, which i have self belief isn't the clarification as there at the instantaneous are not different comments of defective hardware for this notebook). Your proper guess is to reformat or hit upon a fashion to discover the inspiration record of that virus. notebook hardware is amazingly sturdy, and hard drives very last for at minimum 8-10 years.. I heavily doubt u have a failing not difficulty-free force, which may reason BSOD's yet not the blunders inquestion. With not difficulty-free force mess united statesyou receives distinct dll blunders by way of corruption of the homestead windows deploy archives.. If reformartting would not restore it, then it maximum probable is your images, that is replaced.. yet I heavily insist on doing a gadget reformat earlier cracking open your notebook..
