That's your opinion. They're as good as a million other bands out there.

Wrong. The Rolling Stones only had three good years (66-69) and that's because they were pushed into competing by a better band - The Beatles. Best band ever is actually American pioneers Husker Du - listen to everything they did from Zen Arcade to Warehouse: Songs and Stories.

The "greatest" anything is strictly a matter of personal opinion. The Rolling Stones, for example, believe strongly in what they do, they have a great deal of energy because they continue to put a lot of energy into their performances, they have stuck together as a group, and a significant number of people like their music. But that fits quite a few other musical groups also, so in other people's minds, other groups are "the greatest".

The rolling stones haven't been very good since the early to mid 1970's. Beatles are the biggest band EVER. Led Zeppelin is the MOST INFLUENTIAL. Pink Floyd has two of the BIGGEST SELLING cd's in the history of Music, both of which are 25 years old. What have the rolling stones done since Brian Jones died in 1969? SUCKED. What exactly have the who done to make you feel this way?

Most bands produce some good stuff and some crap. If you've been around long enough, people only remember the good stuff. If you've been around as long as the Stones (they're even older than me) and the Who there's plenty of good stuff. But don't forget that the Stones did "I'm just sitting on the fence" and the Who did "Happy Jack". Makes Franz Ferdinand seem cutting edge.

the beastles still shpaped almost every form of music these days so i think that would them a bit more supirior. stones are fine take them or leave them. the beatles are amazing and for guitar jimi hendrix is without a doubt the best. there are some other guitar player that can play like him but no one had/has his style and no one ever will. the who i can understand. they are a very good band.

Alot of people do not agree that the stones are the best band. Their ability to make a fortune must mean they are doing something right. Second to the Stones would be the Beatles.

while have been the Stones ever the final? From sixty 3-sixty 9, the Beatles have been the final. And from 70-seventy 9, Zeppelin substitute into the final. with the aid of that element, the Stones have been rehasing the comparable music returned and returned returned.
