Court TV's website (www.courttv.com or www.crimelibrary.com) has tons of intensive coverage on this case, which might be helpful. Also, the book "Perfect Murder, Perfect Town," by Lawrence Schiller, which is about the case, was really well-done.
Personally, I believe her parents know (or knew, in her mother's case) exactly what happened, and were most likely involved.

recently law-n-order episode had striking similarities to the case, including a character like Marks....anyway, i think the father did it.
