because of shame i think. I bet you it all goes back to this thing with adam and eve. If not, maybe just that fact that there was a time when woman did not wear jeans and they needed to cover the intamates as much as possible. Bras....well someone just had a bright idea i guess. Im glad someone came up with this stuff. Of course sometimes we dont like wearing them. Frankly I could do without the underwear myself, and I like weraing tank tops without a bra. It looks cool. But I normally wont because I know people will look. Hun, If you dont like wearing them, dont. There are people who dont wear anything at all.

Well, you don't have to wear either one. One reason to wear them, is that the both cover sensitive areas of our bodies with a soft material
you ever tried to wear jeans without your panties, your vagin can get very sore for the rough material. Bras server the same purpose, your nipples can be extremely sensitive, and without a bra covering them, they will rub against your top and can become sore & irritated.

women wear bras for a few reasons: 1 to fight gravity and keep them from sagging. 2 so that you don't show quite as much when you are too cold. 3 for support, depending on how big they are, they can cause strain on your back if they are not properly supported.
women wear underwear because it helps protect our delicate areas from chafing and also for those women who wear pads, it gives them somewhere to put them.

well thats a questioned i always wnted 2 answer. well u where bras 2 keep your milk from sprayin all over the place. and u where panties cause when you get wet it cant go down your legs. i hope this help and i kno its the right answer

they are to keep us comfortable and also to cover the parts that shouldnt be seen by public -.- but if you dont like wearing them, its ok, just becareful not to show it all off.
