Please help! It has been doing this lately, and I've tried to delete a whole bunch of extra stuff (pictures, songs, etc.) but it won't help. It always freezes up or acts slowly when I get on internet explorer...

Make sure you disable Yahoo Beacons, Adobe flash PIE and dump all cookies and temporary files.

These spywares slow down your computer. Always use an antis-pyware and anti-virus as well and defragment

Hi, try removing them in safe mood and one folder at a time.
reboot computer and before u see the xp logo with the blocks running across the screen, click F8 and chooze safe mode. Log on and delete yur stuff folder by folder and when u finish, start normal. Laterz.

You are going to have to clean it up. First make sure you do not have a virus by running your current anti-virus program. Don't have one? Run this online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ . Download spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org/ . Run a regcleaner. You can get the one I use at http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048

Download Cleanup from http://www.stevengould.org/software/cleanup/download.html

After that you need to defrag your disk. Click on Start>all programs>accessories>system tools>disk defrag.

There you go now you will have a much cleaner and faster machine. Enjoy your new speed.

I have no thought. try working this software (its on your pc already) called disk cleanup. that would desire to hurry ur pc up with the aid of eliminating particularly some the crap you have on it. Be care ful what you delete nonetheless.

plz dont try to remove songs, pictures, or games, or anything. There is something in the computer called "RAM". Try to upgrade it.
