How can you get it free if it's not free?

You wont get Sky free and sky probably will disconnect you, at the moment youll be paying what, £10 extra each for these boxes. The reason you do is the Sky system receives signals through the phoneline, basically letting them know all the boxes are in your home and youv not gave one to yer best mate to use, after a certain period of not receiving this signal they will bump up your charges for each box to £42.50 a month, (i think the highest package is now). So i'd connect them asap or cancel them (if your out of contact) and use them as freeview boxes.

Have a phone line run to the offending televisions , when you do you may have to pay for the additional box, they do this in the event you are in a block of flats and are relaying it to others at sky expense, once you have linked in and they test it to see that you have the correct box you will be okay , if you have not they will cut you off

i had sky (just the 1 box though) i NEVER had it plugged into a phone line. I still have the box but just ran the cable into my sons room to get a good reception/picture and free channels!

Just buy any sky box from market & plug it in ur tv provided you already hv a sky dish at ur premises nomatter with no subscription. Usually sky box costs £20 from a boot market.

Terribly immoral, but if you figure out how to do it, let us all know! Actually, could be neither need to be connected, but the cards indeed stop service, and somehow they kill off though a signal sent from satellite. I do not understand how, but somehow they can do it.
