There are so many "I hate the new James Bond" web sites. Have any of these people even SEEN Daniel Craig's intense blue eyes or his chest? Are these websites designed by jealous men? And who cares if he has the latest "Bondish " gadgets? He IS the new invention, don't you get it?

these 'fans' obviously have not read any of the books, as Casino Royale, and the Bond that Craig portrays, is the closest to Ian Fleming's vision than ANY of the previous Bonds.
James Bond is a cold-blooded assassin. Craig has portrayed that better than any of the others so far.

Well, it's been clearly said that Casino Royale wants to give James Bond a more realistic spin. And it certainly does that because James Bond in this movie does make some mistakes where the viewer has no choice but smack their forehead in disbelief. In James Bond movies preceding this one, particularly the ones with Pierce Brosnan, James Bond was literally flawless. He walked in and out his missions with ease.
If some people do not like this aspect of the new James Bond movie, they should not dis the entire movie. The movie is not horrible, it is just different.
As for whether or not Daniel Craig is a good James Bond, it's definitely obvious that he is doing his best. Personally, I would've loved to see someone like Clive Owen as James Bond. But alas, Daniel Craig will suffice.
That is my personal take on the new James Bond issues. -grins-

Read a Bond book. There is zero resemblance. True advocates do not like replacing what should be there. He could have dyed his hair too!
