Diuretic Drinks

You have lots of good answers here.

My favorite diuretic of all time is Dandelion Root because it is also high in potassium. Using diuretics can cause low serum potassium. (Looks like God knew what he was doing.)

Dandelion root is available either raw or roasted. Both are slightly sweet, unlike the bitter leaf of the plant. The roasted has a slightly chocolate aroma. Both are effective and work well as teas.

If you are wanting a diuretic for PMS, Fennel Seed is a good choice as it also helps with cramps and stomach upset. It, too, is sweet and makes a pleasant tea. Drink up to 3 cups per day.

Soda or coffee works really well as a diuretic. Any solid food that is high in fiber also works really well to clear out your GI tract as well (like bananas, apples, oatmeal, etc.)
