Greetings!
Take a piece of wire and attach it to the blower motor. Take the other end and touch it to the positive (plus) side of the battery.
If the blower motor runs it is wiring related. If it does not you need to replace the motor.
Now if it is the wiring you can run off a live wire anywhere drill a hole into the dashboard and install a toggle switch. This whole thing would cost a couple of bucks.
That is to say if you are looking for a cheap fix.
Good Luck

Are you in a subzero climate? Blower fans tend to seize when they get a long spell of minus zero temps. Take a multi meter and check for 12 volts at the connector to the blower motor. Make sure the fan is set to high. Fords also have a thermal device located in the blower box and if the fan gets too hot this cuts off the electricity. I forget what it is called. Sorry.

the puma is based on the fiesta, if you have the fastest heater speed normally the 4th one then it is the heater motor resistor.
if you have no power at the plug i would check all the fuses again and try and trace the wiring in case there is a break in the wires.

Have you checked the water, if you haven't water then the heater wont work, it could be the radiator, i had the same problem with my old vauxell corsa as soon as i filled it with water the heater worked, but i had a leek in the radiator so was putting water in everyday untill i could afford to replace it, could be something minor to do with the water pump, just check and see if you've got water. If not cant think of anything else it could be.

I think these have an electric valve (rather than cables) to switch from hot to cold, ask in ford dealer or check a puma / fiesta web site, its definately a common fault on these cars.

to make sure its not the motor, run a piece of covered wire from the motor to the battery,if it works then,it could be the switch.if you can get it working, just hook up a toggle switch to it.
