michigan is not out just yet. the BCS ratings have not come out yet, and USC still has to play ucla. we'll know more next week.
agree with you. the BCS is just a pile of monkey crap! but then again, michigan stayed #2 after a loss and USC's big win over cal.
there's so many flaws, but it calls for certain things including that a team must win their conference to be eligible. although i wanted michigan to beat ohio state, they failed.
i think michigan has a GREAT program, but putting them in the national championship game would not be fair to ohio state. it would only be fair if michigan has to beat ohio state twice to win the NC.
USC is good! they proved it by humiliating oregon, cal and notre dame in the last three weeks.
i was really pulling for a michigan-USC championship game.

Just a point for all to consider -- The reason Michigan currently is #3 has to do with out of conference scheduling Vanderbilt, Central Michigan, and Ball State.
USC scheduled Nebraska, Notre Dame and Arkansas.
One More? Remember when Auburn got passed over? They scheduled The Citadel that year. The Citadel is not even a D-1-A school!!
See a difference in those opponents? Hint: To be considered among the best, you have to schedule some of those teams that are traditionally the best - or take your chances.
Don't start with the "Our conference is tough" arguments. There is not a team in the country that can control how tough any conference is.
Scheduling easy opponents might look good in the W/L record, but it will kill you every time in the strength of schedule department.

THEY FREAKING STAYED AT NUMBER 2 FOR THE WEEK AFTER THEY LOST. They are out of the race basically because the Big 10 started their season too early. So people start putting other team ahead in the polls because the other teams WIN instead of sitting idle. So then boom you lost points from the 2 of 3 being human polls. That is why the Big East has it's final week NEXT week. Just like the others that have Champonship games next week. Rather then SIT IDLE for TWO WEEKS they keep playing and keep their names on the minds of the voters. Blame the BIG TEN for Michigan falling.

Mostly becus of the fact that USC beat Notre Dame big.
ANd becuse USC has one remaining game, therefore one more chance to pick up valuable BCS computer points,
Big 10 suffers because they don't have a championship game for that fact alone! USC doesn't play more games, they just play them later in the season! USC vs. UCLA has always been one of the latest regular season games that matters. This is why they, if they win, will leap-frog Michigan and take number 2 in the BCS
Sorry Wolverine fans - sucks to be you
GO skers!

Look, nothing is better than attending the Rose Bowl and winning at the Rose Bowl Game. We're talking tradition and high television viewership. Michigan belongs at the Rose Bowl. Forget Arizona... we'll meet up again with OSU next year at the BIG HOUSE where it doesn't matter what place either team is ranked. All that matters is that it's the greatest college rivalry of all... Go Blue!

Michigan is out , face it you lost and USC won, Michigan had there chance and LOST, move over and let a real collage team in, Auburn was never in the hunt for a National Championship, Auburn will never and I mean never amount to anything but a bunch of second round draft picks.

Michigan only played 3 ranked teams during there season (ND, WIS and OSU (lost). USC has played 4 (soon to be 5) (Ark, Neb, ND Ore and Cal). Michigan won there ranked games by an average of 15 pts. USC won there ranked games by an average of 22 pts. They win by more and play better teams. Michigan already had there shot.

Nothing against Mich, but their fans need to come to reality.USC has had a lot tougher schedule than MICH had this year and deserve to be there at this point.Mich played Notre Dame then played NO ONE until OSU and lost.Screw em, they had their chance and choked..UCLA could very well foil these plans for USC though..
Cmon Mich fans, you will probably get Notre Dame in a bowl game and can kick the crap out of them again!
