my fellow ARABS, what do u think of forming an Arab union, just like the european union? why cant we have this? i think the advantages will be far more than the disadvantages, do u agree?
dont u think we need to stand together against whoever wants to create hatred among us, specially now?
imagine all the arab countries forming one strong unbeatable nation just like we used to be, isnt it time to do that?
its not because we need to violate or "beat" anybody else, i'm talking about economy, politics, safety and respect.
who would've thought that the day will come when usa is making all our decisions? even europe began to interfere, dont u feel jealous for our arab nation which is losing its strength day by day, letting some nations with absoloutly no civilizations, no history whatsoever rule us and try to take over us country by country.
i need the ARABS opinion about that, and correct me if i said anything wrong, maybe i lack some info, maybe i'm dreaming of a utopia. thnx

Well my dear, that is every Arab's dream, but unfortunately this will never happen, cause every Arab country is busy fixing it's own problems, most of the Arab countries are not on good terms with each other, they try to make a summit but most leaders never show up.
I wish too the one day we can have a union of our own, but if you go back in time, you can see that even unions between two Arab countries only did not work, so how can we do it with them all?
Lets just keep dreaming, nice idea though.

You are not a dreamer, nor you came up with something new to all of the Arab people! Unity is great.
But unity can't be done without the people choice, the regimes in Arab world and the dominant cultures are not in favor of free will, freedom of speech, decent education, etc..all what makes up a strong nation with strong civil rights.
i assure you this is impossible with the regimes and circumstances nowadays, maybe i won't live to see that day, may be my son will, i don't know, what i know is we didn't pay the price of freedom yet.
And about USA which you call without history or civilization, yes it is as you said, but this isn't what matters now, people out there are using common sense, scientific thinking, logic in getting what they want, and we (Arabs) are still here discussing and debating issues that won't get us anywhere and not addressing our real problems.
God won't change us until we change ourselves.

Hi. I totally agree with u but as we all know that Arabs agreed to disagree. what i mean is that imagineall the Arab leaders r sitting together in a summit and one of them suggested your suggestion then all the other leaders will agree with him saying that it is a very good idea that will solve many problems in the Arab world, the real problem which will make them fight is which country will head this union and every one will say "i am the only one that can be the head" then nothing of what u said will happen.
Do u still think it is a good idea?

That is such a sweet dream yet very hard one,although there is quit a god example of it already existing which is GCC gulf cooperation community,but its success is only economically,i dream for the same too hopefully one day we could be more effective even in order to save our brothers in Palestine & Iraq & Bosnia....etc.so I think the only way for that is to stick to our Islam rules,as when the Islam was prevailing on the early ages,Islam & Muslim was most respect full people,so we seriously need to get back to our religion & get forward to science & new technology so as to make our Utopia

Telling you the truth it will not become true with ARAB but it may if we want it for ISLAM
We do not have that common thing or need or goal to become a union, what is it with us ...... being ARAB is nothing but being Muslim is thing the matter the most......
All other things is so fragile …
Unions is so strong in economy & everything, But it is the aspiration is what really maters

i am with you union is the power, but when we used to be they ( france+ uk) devided our country in small countries, starting from the arab islan to the west , we only knew governorates, and all was under one rule, they used to live in safe and peace,
do you think they will let us do it again i doubt that.
yes you are dreaming , it is so nice dream, at least we can dream.
