The seat mount is what secures the seat to the floor rails. You must mean the seat back frame.

There's nothing you can do. Buy another seat and put it in. Welding it would involve taking off the fabric / leather cover and put it back on, whereas a used seat would cost maybe $150 at most. Unless you have special seats like power controls, heated seat bottoms, and so on it should not be hard to locate a replacement.

If the mounts are broken, this might be a problem. If they have ripped out of the floor, put a plate on the underside of the car and secure the seat to that. If not you can re-thread the securing hardware and work it that way. Another option is to drill holes in both the rails and the floor and secure them with standard hardware.

I would call around to the salvage yards and see if you can buy the seat mounts. Then replace the broken ones with the new ones.

Price a used seat installed by a junk yard, and price the seat repaired by a body shop.

yes there is a way to repair them,,i own a repair shop, and i have repaired them before, you have to remove the seat, and have the back took, apart and have it welded back in place,i have done a lot of these, they seem t have a weak seat frame on them,my wife owns a upholstery shop, and she does automobiles,so i have had to do a lot of them for her so she could repair the exterior of the seat, but its not a bad job to do,,just takes some time, find someone that can use a MiG welder good, and they can weld it for you,,good ,luck,i hope this help,s.
