How do I fend Metapod before Gengar's team in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team?

I need to find Metapod before Gengar's rescue does, where is he?

after you wake up and save in your bed, go all the way to the south (down) and leave.

there will be an area with the word "GO" to the left of it - that's where you need to go next

on floor 13 of sinister woods, you fight gengar, medicham, and ekans.

after you beat them all, you will find metapod

You're already told this when the quest is announced. the name of the dungeon is something like Murky woods, can't remember the proper name. And don't worry about Gengar's team beating you. You fight them at the end of the dungeon for the right to find Metapod.

How well this goes depends on your Pokémon. If either of them are weak to poison, payshic, ghost or fighting, or your moves are resisted by those types, it will be a difficult battle. Beware of Gengar's curse. It's like a more deadly version of poison.
