I'm doing a project for world history on medieval jobs... we were assigned different occupations and had to research them and bring in an object that represents that job... my job was a "watchmen:" which is basically a security guard in medieval times... but i cant really think of an object that represents that.... any suggestions?

Try a horn or something for an alarm. They also had to alert others.

Boots.
The watchmen of that time were mostly occupied by walking or standing a post . In addition, it might be easier to get boots into school than a sword.

Yea, the weapon they would have carried, like a mace or something and the uniform of a watchman of that era.

if it just has to be a symbol make a watch with arms and legs lik a Watch- man
