Will i get a bank job in India or abroad

I went back to school for an MBA at age 43. I was not a typical student, and ended up going on to get a PhD. You will be one of the older students, but getting an MBA is a good way to change careers.

I do not believe that it is worth getting an MBA unless you get one from a top school. In the US, those who go to the top schools get a number of job offers and usually increase their pre-MBA salaries by 50% to 100%. The increases and choices drop off pretty quickly.

If you go to a top-10 MBA program in India -- then you will probably be able to get a banking job in India. I doubt that any US firms would recruit you. I would estimate that 15 of the top 20 MBA programs are in the USA. If you want an international job, I would suggest a top US program -- or LBS or INSEAD.
