Another scenario could be replacing Cheney with a more popular Republican, with a clean record, who could not be impeached. Therefore, upon Bush's resignation or impeachment, Republicans could still control the presidency for another two years.

I hate that Cheany is second in command. Can we just get rid of the whole bunch of them and call a 10 year do over.

Haven't you learned anything on here? I mean have you given this any thought at all? If she took over now it would be a sure thing for the Republicans in 2008 and the next midterms.You need to concentrate on real importance and you only hae 2 short yrs. to woo the rest of the voters over cause if you break the elections down only a little over 20% of the voters went demo. 40.4% of the voters turned out, and only a little over half of them voted demo, not a very big win at all.

A woman in the White House would probably be a good thing after all those gung-ho men always trying to blow things up (I include democrats in this as well - remember Clinton blew up an asprin factory in Sudan).
Of course that woman should be Oprah...
Alternatively, return your country back to us Brits and let the Queen run things :D

What an absolutely scary thought that is! Thanks a lot, now I'm going to have nightmares, just thinking about Pelosi at the helm.
I think it's time we started buying Israeli war bonds, that seems to be the only country left with any stones!
