I believe that Singer was implying that when Clark was young he too was rather sickly and week, if I recall 12yr old Clark was wearing glasses when he was jumping through the corn fields. If Clark were 'super' as a kid he wouldnt have needed them. so chances are Jr's asthma is similar. when circumstances forced him to use his powers, like Clark when he fell through the barn, his weakness went away. I also know that he started to get an attackafter tossing the piano, but then stopped himself before using the inhaler

He will probably have most of Supermans but they could be different ,weaker or even stronger than Supermans because he is half human and no one really has any idea how that would affect him if any.
