ive tried using the virus scan on demand! it's not working nor detecting the virus , this is ruining my computer and evrytime i log onto msn messanger it sends all these automatic messages to my friends! i dnt knw what else to do!!!!!!!! :-( please someone help!!!

I once had this problem too. I chose to reformat. The virus was sending out emails by the hundreds. And I didn't know where it got all those email addresses from. That was when I first started getting on the Internet.At that time I haven't even entered any of my friends' email address on my computer and I didn't know about pop-ups. My computer got infected when I clicked on the pop-up. And I didn't have a masterdisk. I have to use my friend's XP master CD to reformat. My computer is an original equipment manufactured pc. I had to reinstall all my programs. I suggest you try doing system restore in safe mode. Then you don't have to reformat. When you have done that, create a new restore point. I would have done this if I knew about safe mode before.

ok 1 mcaffe suck ok my friend got 5 trojans that duplcated them selfs and the computer got slower the sucrity suck get this Kaspersky internet sucrtiy @ www.Kaspersky.com it has a online check just let it run and it will tell you what is on your system you can also download a trial 30 day it is a must to get
