a friend once told me that women who have succeded in life (degree and decent money) are less likely to get married than unsuccessful women, especially when it comes to black women. Personally, I find this to be untrue.

This goes for all women in general

What are your thoughts and reasons

So untrue...I"m about to get my associates in Management and I'm going for my Bachelors in Health Care management and I"m happily married. I'm very successful in the military and I plan to continue to pursue my career in the medical business when I get out.

It looks as though the poor black woman is less likely to get married. They take multiple men to father their children and go on welfare. They lack self esteem and seem to know no other way of life.

And as for the others , it is not the degree, but the attitude of the person. Many women want so badly to on an equal footing with men that they try to emulate them in every way. Including the piggish practice of bedding as many people of the opposite sex as possible. The only thing that they seem to forget is that women, due to the physical configuration of the genitals, have 100 times greater risk contracting some horrible disease and dying or never being able to have children, than men do.

From personal experience, I'd say this is not true. The professional women (of varying races/nationalities) in my circle are married to professional men (of varying races/nationalities).
