Bowlers capture the win and Batsman secure it. It's a team game. The best bowlers would CRUSH the best batsman. I've already got it planned out. Imagine Hayden having to bowl to Muralitharan. Muralitharan is an aggressive batsman. He'd crush him. Basically, bowling is the key to a successful team and the batsman are the ones to secure the match.

Pakistan looks better now than South Africa. Their gamers are appearing properly. yet Pakistan will favor to rigorously %. the stunning 11 so as that the perfect appearing gamers are lined. As in line with my estimate, the relative values of Paksitan's gamers are given lower than: Afridi sixty 9; Gul sixty 5; Ajmal fifty 8; Younis Khan 50; Shahzaib Hasan 40 8; Abdul Razzaq 40 3; Shoaib Malik 34; Kamran Akmal 31; Misbah Ul Haq 26; Mohd. Aamer 23; Salman Butt 23; Yasir Arafat 17; Sohail Tanveer 9; Fawad Alam 8; Ahmed Shehzad 5. The mixed score of the right 11 gamers is 470. Now enable us see the performances of South Africans. JH Kallis seventy 3; De Villiers fifty 3; Van Der Merwe 40 seven; Steyn 36; Smith 36; Parnell 33; Botha 32; JA Morkel 28; HH Gibbs 25; JP Duminy 23; MV Boucher 12; Morne Morkel 12. The mixed score of the right 11 gamers is 397. So, Pakistan is going to win the adventure. each and every of the perfect to Pakistanis. enable them bypass to the finals.

The batsmen would win in the scenario that you paint as few bowlers can score runs.
Generally though your sentiment is correct - look at the first test just finishing & Warne & McGrath.

Well, this is not the case with the current Indian Cricket Team. See!!! How batsmen were dismissed cheaply against South Africa again today, and how ther bowlers were smashed by Kemp and Hall today!!!

Very true. If you post 1000 runs its still no good if you can't bowl the opposition out. The batsmen would win by the way.

It is "Catches win matches".
BOWLERS! will win for the reason that batsmen (while bowling)will give so many extra runs (no balls, wides etc.) .
And i don't think that any batsman will be able to complete first over.
Think hard to catch the answer...OK

If the batsmen dominates the bowlers they can win. However, if the bowlers dominate batsmen, bowlers will win.

catches win matches but i guess in this match i would favour the batsmen cause they will get some runs and some can bowl a bit like sanchin tendulkar not all bolwers can bat eg monty panesar.

That saying is about test cricket, where you need 20 wickets to win. You cannot win a test without 20 wickets (well with injuries you can but..)
If you don't have the bowling to get wickets, it doesn't matter how many runs you put in the board.
