After searching through a book of 25,000 names in preperation for my baby's arrival I decided on Joel for a boy (I had a girl though!), I can't remember what it means but I though it was a little different but not too wacky. It's the kind of name that suits a boy of any age. If it also helps my older child who is a boy is called Ethan.

Theo, Hugh, Hugo, Oscar, Noah, Archie, Tobias (Tobie), Anderson, Briggs, Harrison, Sonny, Vinnie, Beau, I love slightly unusual names, when you have a baby they are the most special, unique and beautiful people in your life and I could never call my child something that millions of other children are called and something that doesn't have any character to it. Good luck with your baby boy, Best wishes.

You should probably consider something that isnt going to cause your little boy teasing when he is older, remember he will have to live with that name forever (or at least until he can change it by deed poll)

I like the following names for boys:

Leon
Noel
Samuel
Jacob
Benjamin

Congratulations by the way and im sure his name will come to you when he is born!!

Dont just think unusual but think alternate spellings of names.

For example
James = Jaymes
Lee = Lei / Leigh
Makensie or Makenzie.

It's not always the unusual that is original having a unique spelling of it can make you just as special!!!!!
