We are not usually like this but we are just so strapped this year. I don't even know if I am going to be able to get a tree. And to me Christmas isn't the same without a real tree. *sigh* We will figure it out I am sure....but I just wondered if there were others like us out there......

Remember, if you need to, you can always get a smaller tree and put it on top of a small table - it still works (and my family just thinks it makes more room for presents). If I get half the presents from a dollar store, so what? The toys still get played with, so the children are still happy. I know what it's like to have a limited Christmas, I've done it many a time - thing's are hard for lots of us, but if you keep hope alive, think real hard, and get creative, Christmas can still be the joyous holiday it's meant to be.

I had a few rough Christmas's before I finished school and what I did is I waited until 2 or 3 days before Christmas before I went to get a tree. They practically give them away then. I hope things get better for you in the New Year.

I'm all about the wishlist. You give em an assignment 2 make a wishlist and tell them they won't get evrything on there so dont be dissapointed. But it totally makes it easier for u 2 visualize wut they want! ;-)

GOOD LUCK!
