In Florida, if you have comprehensive insurance...it is free. By Florida law, there is no deductible and it must be included in each policy written.
In fact, there is a place in Orlando that advertised they would give you a box of steaks if you would let them do the work. However, contact your insurance company as they will have a list of preferred shops...that will direct bill the insurance company.

Windshield replacement costs vary widely from $150-over $1,000. It depends on what kind of windshield. My plain basic Camry windshield costs $250 last month to replace. Look at your insurance policy to determine the deductible that applies to you. Mine was $100.

Windshield replacement is FREE with comprehensive insurance only.This is above and beyond what the state of florida requires you to have to get a registration for you auto.

contact your ins. company they'll let you know all the info you need, they will also make all the appointment, some glass companies will even come to your house and replace the windshield for free. I live in florida and i've had three windshields replaced in my life and the where all FREE!
