1. Police in Europe or the US use force to arrest a violent person from one of the many ‘minorities’ = Racist Cops! (Should we let them do what they like?)

2. One dares to criticise Israel = Anti Semitic! (Is Israel always right?)

3. Blacks call themselves n.gg.rs, (and call whites ‘honkies’ or worse) but when whites do it = Racists!
(Only Blacks have ‘freedom of speech'?)

4. Happy Christmas = Insulting other religions! (Okay. No more Ramadan, Yom Kippur, etc, either)

5. Christian countries insist on the practice of their cultures in their countries (i.e. the resistance to women covering themselves completely in public) = Insulting Islam! (When Muslim countries allow us to freely exercise our customs/beliefs in their societies, we could consider the idea of allowing them the same privileges in ours.)

Enough!

ramugo: Look at my avatar.
Do I look white?
Nobody has ever called me 'whitey'.
'Political Correctness' is stealing all of our 'identities'. It is 'dividing/polarising' more than it is 'uniting'.

We certainly are as it seems to be all stacked in favour of any minority group. Some one some where, usually some egotistic local government officer or politician that cannot let things carry on as they have done for almost ever. It now effects everything and on Saturday it effected the New Zealand All Blacks as they were not allowed to perform their show piece Haka.

Unfortunately, political correctness has become a byword for censorship and 'positive (if it is positive) discrimination. Originally being PC was meant to mean tolerance and being non-prejudicial. However, the 'loony' fringe have taken it too far.
Yes, calling someone a ****** was intolerant and prejudice... but banning the rhyme "Baa, baa black sheep" ridiculous.
Manholes... yes manholes... not 'person holes" are quite acceptable. ... Saying Christmas in a Christian country insults other religions.. so far fetched its unbelievable... If you are truly religious, you are willing to accept other religions days of worship. (And I'm not religious... Christian or otherwise!)
Yes, Israel is not always right, nor are the Palestinians, George Bush, the Anti-war Coalition, so on and so forth
Silly example... Cap't Pugwash was on TV when I was a kid.. I thought it was funny (as a kid!)... Then it wasn't PC... Why? Well, the Ship was called The Black Pig, the first mate.. Master Bates, etc... When I was a kid, I had no bloody idea what the inference was (IF ANY!)... I enjoyed it because it was a cartoon and funny...
Lets ban Muffin the Mule... it has a sexual connotation.
Political Correctness... start to get real.... If it's seriously prejudice, and I mean seriously then fair enough, otherwise, live and let live.

and this is TYPICAL... I was using the word N*g*er to emphasise the point, not gain any form of points...and Yahoo have banned it with asterixes

America... pls wake up. although wrong to intentionally offend in my opinion, often the truth will be offensive to someone. Political Correctness at this stage in human evolution, is going through its growing pains if you will. Too many times the truth is watered down and even misrepresented when P.C. is the basis of translation. When did it become wrong to support the majority. What part of peace on earth and good will towards men, is offensive? We can not rewrite history because some may be emotionally hurt by the facts. So yes, The P.C. culture is to the extreme, and as we grow as a society, I am sure the correct path to Individual responsibility will find us walking it's road for the most part. It is up to us to make the arguments and point out the flaws that truly exist in this new language call political correctness.

Regarding #2) Not only do people dare critisize Israel, but they do it all the time and do not suffer any consequences for that.
Keep in mind though that that critisim should not be immune to the charge of anti semitism if, in fact, it IS anti semetic as it in fact is in many (not all) cases.
As is the case, I have been critical of Israel myself in the past and no one has labeled it anti semetic.
For example:
I am critical of Israel's withdrawl from Gaza last year.
I am critical of how Israel handled the war in Lebanon.. they didn't go in with a good plan and did not come anywherre near to finishing the job. They will have to return to Lebanon in the near future and it will be 100 x more difficult for them.
I am critical of Israel negotiating with terrorist organizations, i.e. the PLO in 1993 which can be argued that lead to alot of the mess they find themselves in now.

Strangly though, when most people "critique" Israel, they don't come up with the above points.

To address #3 on your list...
N*gger is an ignorant and racist term. Most Blacks DO NOT use the word N*igger or any form there of. Just because Hip hop or Rap has embraced the word out of ignorance doesn't mean that Blacks have. The word is not acceptable and for you to be "jealous" that you cannot say it because you are White is asinine. Pick up a book and read about the history of the word then decide if YOU want to use it. You too have freedom of speech, say it if you choose.

Furthermore any Black calling Whites "honkies or worse" is also racist.

Sorry, but I fail to see what point you are trying to make when you addressed me directly? I don't know whether you are white or not from your avatar and who called you "whitey"?? Certainly you are not implying that I did. I did make the assumption that you are white from the tone of your post, but I did not refer to you as "whitey". Furthermore, if you are NOT white, the "whitey" reference is certainly a bit racist on your part.

Anyway, to simplify things a bit for you...just because some women toss "whore" around, it doesn't mean that it is a term that is universally accepted by women. If you want to find out, exercise your freedom of speech and call a woman a whore. Sit back and see what happens.

Blacks have used the race card too often and it has become a big business for people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

I am really sick of the Christmas crap. People do not have the right to not be offended.

It disgusts me how liberals cowtow to muslims. I do not care about them and they can kiss off. We are a Christian based nation. We have values and celbrate things that come from Christianity. Liberals believe if they do not offend muslims, they will not hurt us. All you get is violence when you give in to violent thugs.

You are right.
I think PC is destroying our country and it has to stop.
Some things are just common sense, and PC is overriding COMMON SENSE!
I NEVER am politically correct. I say what I mean and mean what I say.
I have been called a racist for not liking the term - African American. We are all JUST Americans, and I am not an Irish American.
I hate the term - NOT the people. PC sucks.
