Just curious...for those of you who gained the "normal 25-35 lb" gain, how quickly did you manage to return to your prepreg. weight after you delivered? I've exercised and eaten well throughout my pregnancy and am almost to the end, and of course I'm ready for my old body back even though it will take time. Also planning to breastfeed. Any tips or suggestions?

I fit back into my regular clothes when she was 2 months old and after she was born I was 10 lbs. bigger than what I was before. I am the same size but not the same " Tone" I am still working on that! But, that is expected to some extent after having a baby!( she is 11 months)

It can take sometime. I gained about 35 pounds with my pregnancy and most of it came off within six weeks of having my son. I also exercised and ate right. However, I have been trying to lose the last 12 pounds and for whatever reason, it is not going away. I guess I need to increase my workout. I did not breastfeed, but if you intend to do so the weight will come off a lot faster. Whatever you do, don't starve yourself. Just eat right and exercise when you can.

My friend started at 124, and maxed out at 168, she lost it all in a month.

My mom gained about 30 pounds with me and lost it all in two weeks.

I started at 126, and weigh 163 right now. And i dnot have any fat on me.

It doestn matter what you gain, it matters where you gain it. If you have all baby weight, it'll melt away after so lnog as youre active and breastfeed.

You'll be fine.

Breastfeeding burns approximately 600 calories a day. Also you can return to your exercise routine as soon as you feel you can. Most women get back to their pre-pregnancy weight within 6 mos.

Congratulations!
