Check to make sure you havent run out of black ink and that the hole isn't bunged up with muck or dust.

Easy solution: you are out of Black Ink. Next solution: the Black Ink has solidified and you must clean the printer to get it to work. I had to buy a new printer because of the ink drying out.

sounds like the black ink cartridge has gone bad. try replacing it.

check your printer settings and also that you have a black cartridge installed in the right place in the printer.

the black ink cartridge is empty....fill it or replace it
