Click on the following link. Read through the page. Then click on Account Deletion Link which will prompt you to enter your password. Then you will be taken to Terminating your Yahoo! Account Page.
confirm your identity with your password.
Click on Yes. And you have deleted your Yahoo Account

Click on Start, then Control Panel. In Control Panel click on Add/Remove Programmes, go down the list to Yahoo Instant Messenger and click on Remove. This will uninstall your Yahoo and relinquish your membership.

why quit? u always cannot delete an yahoo account! just leave it forever if u wanna quit..

delete all your screen name and go to yahoo web page at the bottom of the page look for (contact us) click that and it gives you intructions in how to cancel you member ship
