Discharge of any color other than white is not normal. Especially since your pregnant, you need to call your doctor asap. Your 38 weeks so you are full term and it is safe for you to be induced now. Don't let them tell you that its your mucus plug, because it is not. Your plug will usually be clear (like snot) and it may have some pink (blood) in it and or little white flakes ( looks like cracked egg shells). It sounds like you probably just have a bad yeast infection and it needs to be treated as soon as possible so you can try to prevent it from passing to your child's mouth and eyes durning childbirth. Call your doctor now! Good Luck =)

Hi I would definatly call the doctor or even go to the walk in clininc because green mucus is a sign of a viral infection, but then again it could be nothing but better off to get it checked out

In general, I think green means infection. I'm not sure if that is true for pregnancy.

eco-friendly colored vaginal discharge is definately indicative that something isn't precise. it somewhat is an infection or something greater severe mutually with cervical dysplasia led to with the aid of HPV (a style of STD). i could bypass to the dr. if it keeps up longer than today. solid success!

No, no its not. Call your doctor. red, green, dark yellow, and chunky white discharge are all signs of infection, or other problems.
Cal your doctor.

It could just be a yeast infection, but you need to see your OB ASAP to make sure it is nothing serious. Do not try and diagnose yourself.

it's possible you could be starting to lose your mucus plug, if you haven't already, at 38 weeks you are just in time! good luck!

it is probably harmless, however, toward the end of your pregnancy it could also be meconium, or your babies first poop, and that could be dangerous. i would call your doctor just to be on the safe side.
congradulations!
