Does anybody know about the university of New York?

Does the university of New York consist of many colleges and univiersities in New York? does Cornell University of Veterinary Medicine part of the university of New University of Veterinary Medicine part, or campus of the university of New York???

There is no University of New York.

There is a New York University -- which is a very good private university in New York City.

There is also a State University of New York -- with is a public university with many campuses -- including SUNY Binghampton, SUNY-Stoneybrook and SUNY-Buffalo

Cornell is not part of the SUNY System. Cornell University has an odd setup. It is a private Ivy League university -- but some of the colleges receive state funding. The link below explains that most of the colleges are privately endowed, but four colleges within the university (including the Veterinary School) have contracts with the State of New York -- receiving funding from the state, and a link to the state's social and economic well-being.
