It may mean you lost your mucus plug. Yes, please call the doctor. Losing the mucus plug does not necessarily mean you are going into labor.

The menstrual cramps may be a sign you are in the first stages of labor. Time the cramps to see if they have a timed frequency.

I did not know I was in labor until my cramps were 5 minutes apart. My child was born 3 hours later. Thankfully, my husband called the doctor and made me go to the hospital.

Thats not right that you cant get ahold of your doctor. Every OB is REQUIRED to have an after hours answering service that pages them with patients numbers for questions and emergencies.

Women have babies on the weekends too you know. Either you didnt really call, or you need to get a different doctor.

That said, changes in discharge are normal during pregnancy. Its caused by hormones.. although unless your doctor has said its normal for you, generally you never fill a pad, you may need to change a panty liner a couple timse a day, but a full on pad no. If you're having that much discharge its more likely that you've been leaking amniotic fluid, or your waters broke, or your mucus plugs come loose... its just not normal to fill three pads a day with vaginal discharge.

Its probably nothing, since you can feel bloated and crampy anytime during pregnancy.

but its really odd that you're filling so many pads in one day.

Call your hospital since youre worthless doctor doesnt have an answering service like he's required to.

you may talk on your doctor. the release is typically not something, Your mucus plug is typically making waiting to come back back out. additionally, you've a small tear interior the bag your infant is in and the fluid is leaking. they'd test this with a test strip. i think you discharge greater once you're pregnant.
