i pinched my siatiac nerve in my lower back(obvisly), what are some ideas to get back to normal,so i can do something, and how long does it take to heal, thanks ,in constant pain....

try to get someone to massage your lower back .then lay on your back with knees slightly bent lower and raise your legs bending your knees do this a few times each time you do it hold a few seconds slowly bring knees to chest do not make yourself hurt...do this 5 to ten times put a heating pad on afterwords or take a nice hot bath..a pinched nerve can take up to 4 weeks to heal depends on how much you agitate it

This is horrible pain - I had it in both legs at one point. What helped me was to prop my back up on several pillows and put maybe two pillows under my knees (my mom said I was folded up like a taco). This seemed to open up space in the vertebrae and relieve the pressure.

Get a good prescription for some painkiller, if you haven't already. Bug the heck out of your doctor if the pain doesn't resolve itself - could be the sign of serious medical condition, as it was for me.

get a good physio to massage out regular,practice gentle stretching daily to prevent re-occurrence
