We moved in a 7 year old house and the bathroom ceramic tile floor white grout won't come clean. We've tried bleach, oxyclean, a steamer and a lot of cleaners that people said would work, but no help. We've let it soak and brushed it. If I have to dig the grout out and redo it, what's the easiest way? I've heard a church key works. Yes, it's sanded grout. If I can get it clean and seal it, my wife might be happy with it.

A product called tri-sodium-phosphare will clean it right up.

Oxyclean is the only thing I have used that will get the grout clean again. Mix the powder with hot water, let it soak into the grout, then scrub with a stiff brush. They should look good as new.

Sounds like your grout should be good and clean since you have already done so much too it. Removing the grout is a bear, I have never seen it done where it ever looked good again. One slip and you've scratched a tile (believe me, I know) so here's what I did about 10 or 12 years ago. Wish I could remember if I used oil base or latex based paint. I really think it was oil based paint diluted down with paint thinner so it would work like a stain and I technically stained my grout back to white. It still looks great. Nowadays when it starts looking dull all I have to do is wipe it down with clorox and it brightens back to white as soon as it dries.

Toothpaste...along with a lot of brushing. Or you could use a carving tool, and take off a little bit of grout. There should be white underneath if it was white before.

It sounds like the sealer wasn't applied. you can re grout but you will have to kill the mold in it first. If bleach didn't work and just made it darker, I think it is defiantly not sealed. It's kinda like when it rains then the sidewalk outside turns darker because it has absorbed some of the water.
