I live 25 miles east of San Francisco and we get more of a change of seasons here than in the immediate bay area, but not as severe as the east coast. I enjoy the variety of weather throughout the year. Sometimes I enjoy going to Chicago to visit relatives during the winter to get a good dose of snow. It is fun for a Californian.

really do. Mid - West here and especially this year as I will not have to shovel the white stuff. but each season has its special moments. spring things begin to bloom, summer everything is green and sunny, fall the leaves change their colors and winter there is snow and ice cycles. ah, the glories and beauties of Mother Nature which we mortals can enjoy.

I live in southern California and although the seasons are very subtle here, I do love the transition between summer and fall. A southern California fall is bright, warm, sunny and beautiful. We really do have changing trees, too, although of course not in a spectacular fashion as the east. From fall to winter isn't so much fun, it just seems to get colder. I understand liking to visit snow...but I bet you're happy you can "leave" it, too!
