They work, but don't expect success each and every time. Each cart can be refilled maybe 3-5 times, and expect a minor mess each time you do it.
Cheapest place I've seen them... Big Lots. :)

Oh they work. And you can save a lot by refilling HP cartridges.

There is this website called "eink4U" that sells manufactured HP ink cartridges at discounted prices (i.e., $9.75 ea. or 3 for $22.50, etc.) It has pretty good reviews too as far as their products and shipping. Might want to check them out....looks pretty good to me.
