My wonderful fiancee Tristan and I (my name's Isobelle) are to be wed in the summer. What do you think of this wedding theme: Amore in Paris? That doesn't mean that we're going to Paris for the wedding, though. We were thinking about going for our honeymoon. Anywho, what do you think of the names: Ivy Bridgette and Paige Tyler? The names are for two female twins. The second names are their middle names, or at least that's what we're thinking as of now. They are due on the last of November/the first of December. Please let me know, but nothing really nasty. Thanks for all your help. I'm always open to suggestions. I appreciate your responses.

Tyler is unisex. It's a female AND male name.

I went to my doctor and he's thinking they might be early. First he said maybe a day late - now he's saying early! Hah!

Thanks Danielle! Also, yea, I'm going to need to see them before I decide which one's which. I think I may stick with those names. I dunno.

You really helped, and I just wanted to keep all you answerers updated, so;
*The twins were born yesterday..erm..well more like today, but we're keeping their official the tweny-sixth of November. They were born at 12:36 and at 12:39. The names we picked were Hollie Bridgette and Grace Emily. They were premature. Hollie weighed in at 4 pounds and 15 ounces, and Grace weighed in at 4 pounds and 16 ounces, so they're still at the hospital, and Tristan and I both JUST came home. It broke my heart when I learned that they would have to spend one more night at the hospital, but at least that gives Tristan and I some extra time to make things the best for them at home. For the wedding theme, we DID choose Amour In Paris, because we're going there for our honeymoon, and I agree with everyone who said that as long as it has some elegance, it's NOT cheesy, so there.* Well, anyway - I'm tired, and I'm off to go notify everyone! I'm so happy. Thanks to all and best wishes!

Hi!!! Congrats on the twins and your wedding. First I have to say I love the wedding theme. It's beautiful!! I love the names you have chosen out. Ivy and Paige. I've also always loved the girl names Haley, Abigail, Emma, and Gabriella. One of the most popular girl names for twins is Emma and Anna. I dunno which one you will like but these are just some choices.

Good luck with your twins & Happy Holidays to you and your family!!

P.S. Tristan and Isobelle- that is soo cute and sound so good together! :) For your wedding soveniers, you go get like little jewlery boxes or mini porcelain baskets and have your name written on it along with the date (what my cousin had as soveniers for his wedding last year) :) Good Luck!

OMG!! How fun!! Wow, you're going to have lots on your plate. I love the Amore Paris theme for the wedding, it's very elegant!!!

And for the names.....Ivy Bridgette is very risky...try something more subtle for a twin name.....maybe Trista Annabelle (Tristan and Isobelle) and Paige Tyler is SOOO cute!! I love Tyler for a girl! How about these:
- Annabelle Tyler
- Trista Paige
That way, by having a mixture of their parents names, one won't feel left out!!?? Hoping GREAT luck in the future!

I think the wedding theme is cute! Paris is very romantic and that would be a very simple yet elegant theme to decorate for. I love the names Bridgette and Paige. Not to keen on the other names though. What about Isabella Bridgette and Tristan Paige? That way you and your husband (soon to be :0) both have a namesake in your precious little girls. You could still call them Bridgette and Paige though. Hope I helped and Congrats on babies and wedding!

Your wedding theme should be you and tristan. thats it. have the wedding be about you. Not amore. Not Paris. This isnt a cheesy sweet 16, it is a wedding. the couple should be the focus - their love is what the guests are gathered to celebrate. A Parisian honeymoon sounds wonderful, a Parisian theme wedding sounds tacky.

By the way amore is Italian, Amour is french.

If you really like France, whynot go for French sounding names for the children. Yvette instead of Ivy, for example. And Brigitte instead of Bridgette? the -tte in common will give the twins' names a commonality, but it wont be too matchy/rhymy

Yvette Paige
Brigitte Tyler

I hate every name mentioned here except for yours. Maybe you could do something like [ARE-ee-a] Aria (or (Arianna or Arietta or Ariella) Triselle and Arobelle Tristine? (Sorry. I'm trying to come up with names that relate to the parents' names. ) You have to admit Ariella, Tristine and Triselle are good. I thought of those just for you! Btw, Aria and subsitutes are Italian and the rest of those are French.

By the way, I love the Paris theme. You CAN do a theme wedding without it being cheesy. My husband and I did (but out theme was tropical island). We did it in Virginia Beach and then honeymooned in the Caribbean. It was gorgeous, not cheesy.

I'm not sure about Ivy..it sounds like a plant, but it is pretty! And to me, Paige is kind of a dull name, since I know a lot of Paiges. You could name her Tyler Paige, though. I think that sounds cute!

That's a cute theme for a wedding, I love it, adorable. The names you choose are pretty. I like Ivy spelt Ivey or Ivee though, and Paige as Payge, just to make it more unique. Both good choices and good luck

You've already asked this question, but I guess those names aren't any worse than anything else I've seen on here. Congratulations on your wedding to the wonderful fiance (one "e" if talking about a man) Tristan.
