The jury is still out on the question of being 'born gay'. Personally, I don't buy it. It's a choice THEY made and we are to accept it? Look at the mess we are in. Seems wherever you look, THEY are fighting for rights. Forcing 'the lifestyle' down our throats. The PC crowd, along with the liberals think we should give them whatever they want. That's just wrong. Do we say that the various religious teaching are wrong? Do you believe in a Deity? Have we not learned anything from history?
Let's find those who want that lifestyle a state, like California, where they can all live their lives and leave them to their own destruction.........OH wait, the Mexicans want that back don't they? That's fine, they can all live happily ever after together.

There's a lot more to an individual than his or her sexual orientation. Why not ask yourself why you ask such a question about this group and not about different religious groups or ethnic groups? What is it about your values, that you are interested in determining a judgement of an entire group of people?
Gay hating is a pretty hot issue that has been politically manipulated in recent years and so questions like this are acceptable. Why is that?
I'm not sure that there is a defining set of characteristics that define all gays which impact other people. Maybe people should consider the individuals?
Many who are overly concerned about gays, are because of their repulsion of their own homosexual feelings.

Gay's have been around as long as hetero's! It's only been recently that homosexuality has been a recognized "freedom".
Personally, I think sexual preference is beyond the bounds of societal acceptance! It's the legal obligation of family protection that gets questioned by the majority of the public.
NOONE should dictate how another person lives unless that other person threatens the fabric of a given society!

I have nothing against them personally but I know that my religion (along with other religions) are against them. However, I think they are people just like the rest of us and there is no need to be rude to them or tell them that they are sinners, will go to hell, etc. Of course they are sinners because they are human! Straight people are sinners too! If I had a very very close friend who told me she gay, I would tell her that I don't agree with it but since she is my friend, I will still be her friend and stand by her side.

I wonder if there will ever come a time when we just accept people for who they are. Homosexuals are just people who are attracted to people of the same gender. I have a few gay friends. I also have a straight friend who likes blond guys while I like dark hair with blue eyes. We are all still friends. I don't think who you are attracted to has much to do with what kind of person you are.

I could care less what kind of lifestyle people like to live as long as its law abiding. I am more concerned with people's qualitites like: are they good people, Are they good community leaders? Are they hard workers? Whether someone is gay or not means nothing to me....

If you're gay you're gay and if you're straight you're straight. People can like who ever they like as long as they are happy with it. People shouldn't judge gay people and discriminate. If that's what they want leave them alone.
