One can only find palm trees in places that have year-round warm weather. I don't think it's the palm trees themselves that get the hype, but the fact you can get a tan in those places in January.

Palm trees symbolize beautiful tropical weather. If you live in the U.S. and want to see palm trees, it is easier and less expensive to see them in the states than to go to Baghdad.

You re funny! Baghdad has palm trees!!!! But it doesnt have an ocean. Give it one of those and then I ll go there.
