This question has already been answered by me. I have posted the link below. Here's my answer:
Kurt Angle...he is the most complete wrestler in the
business right now in terms of showmanship, wrestling
ability and mic skills. Edge, Cena, Booker T, and anyone
else you can think of fall short in one or more of the following
areas. Kurt Angle is an ideal heel, but he can be a babyface
as well. His wrestling skills are second to none. His mic
skills are fabulous, because he can draw heat, and he can
get the fans involved and excited (which is important). Chris
Benoit would get consideration if he had better mic skills
and a better gimmick. He's a great technical wrestler, but
he can't compete with Angle. Ric Flair has it all as well,
but he's past his prime, and can't wrestle the five star
matches as often as he used to in the past. Ric Flair is
the benchmark for alltime best wrestler. If it's currently,
the answer is Kurt Angle. If it's alltime, it's probably Flair.
Hogan can't wrestle worth a damn. He is extremely
charismatic and has great mic skills, but his wrestling
skills are awful. As for Shawn Michaels, he's great too,
but he was less than an exemplary WWE champion,
when he won the belt. His workrate was awful compared
to the previous champion, Bret Hart. He had to forfeit the
title during his first reign...which doesn't say much about
Michaels as a champion.

Right now, I believe it is Kurt Angle. The man can flat out wrestle, he can make the worst wrestler or performer who doesn't know a wristlock from a wrist watch look good during a match, (Shane McMahon, remember?), and as a heel or a face, he is STILL respected and gets over with the crowd with his superior wrestling skill and intense and sometimes comical personality. Forget Lex Luger, Kurt Angle is the TRUE total package!

The best wrestler is the innovater of a hangman's horror match and the clockwork orange house of fun match. RAVEN and you will all suffer from a narcotic overdose of the Raven Effect. So Quote the Raven NEVERMORE
