Try out a computer programme called 'adult directions' - it's available to use at colleges and careers centres. You put in your qualifications and then answer lots of questions about what you like and don't like doing. From that it gives you lots of ideas about different jobs you might not have thought of.

Me, by the way, I work in a supported housing project for 16-24 year olds and I really like it.

If you want a career rather than just any job to bring the money in then the best thing you can do is choose something you love doing?
I have always loved music, from a child I was always singing, writing poems, drawing, so I went into the music industry, and have now been doing that for 10 years.
If you love animals, be a vet or RSPCA inspector. If outer space fascinates you, be an astronomer, if you're into trees, be a lumberjack.
Choose something that holds your interest for longer than half an hour, something you get passionate about, so as well as a career you'll be in a job you love.
Good luck with whatever you choose.

1. What do I enjoy? 2. What can provide me w/ a stable career? 3. What field could lead me into a nice retirement? Things like that. Just sit down w/ yourself & decide what YOU wanna be.
