I don't know why anyone should have to appologize for a 9-1 football team, but it appears that we do. It seems that many fans feel that the Bears are "lucky" to be at 9-1 and the Patriots are "better" than their record of 7-3.

I feel its the reverse. This Bears team is a young team and unacustomed to the glare of their sudden celebrity success. I think they are VERY good and are actually "unlucky" NOT to be at 10-0. The Pats with Brady and Belichick are on the other hand, as usual playing ABOVE their overall talent level. That means that with a "regular" QB and a "regular" coach, this would be a 5-5 team at best.

Many feel that as the Bears don't actually "need" this game, its almost a "gimme" for the Pats. I think the Bears need EVERY game to keep the momentum rolling right to the bitter end and they will be silly boys indeed to have any letdowns along the way. This is a game that will test everybody but especially Lovie Smith. Can he actually go toe to toe with the biggest in the business, Belichick? (Cuz if he CAN'T, it will not be a happy ending for a season where he is going to have to face more Big Boys like Holmgren, Parcells or Fox, then Billick, Dungy or Shanahan.....)

My gut says the Bears are ready to step it up a notch while the Pats are already "up a notch" and have nothing left for the "turbos."

Da Bears.........

I have a strong feeling that the Patriots will lead most of the way and win by less than 10.

Will be a great game, but no. The bears are a complete team, if Grossman comes ready to play. Which I think he will today.

It depends if tom brady can hold up against the bears great defense. if the bears play as they did against the miami dolphins, then they will loose. if they play like they did every other game, the will definately win.

this game will be very boring but it may be humorous to see the pats defense jsut make grossman look like he played for the bungals, grossman is highly overrated and is a very bad qb, hsi defense is good and the only reason they dont have a losing record is because of their ddefense
