My Sib.Husky is very finicky. Usually eating only once a day. If you just introduced a new pet to the home, she may be jealous. It could also be she's afraid her food will get stolen and she's only comforted with you next to her to protect her and her food. Give her time, it should pass.

Huskies are spectacular. That mentioned, their training and exercising habitual desires are very equivalent to the two breeds you presently very own. The grooming could require somewhat extra brushing yet will possibly no longer relying on the canines. do no longer hear to those human beings knocking huskies. as with every breed, the %. chief determines how the canines will do. in case you're doing nicely with a malamute and a shepherd, you ought to have the flexibility to handle a husky. good success!

It's normal for Huskies to not eat a lot. They were bred to run on not so much food, so it's perfectly normal for them to not eat sometimes or be finicky. Can't say the same about mine though, I'd be a little worried if he didn't eat.

I have two siberian huskies and have encountered this problem with one of the dogs. i contacted a vet and she advised me to let it be and the dog would eat when it was hungry. the problem lasted for about two weeks then he went back to his normal eating habits. we were also advised to feed them at the same time as we were eating.
hope this helps some.

one of my dogs also has this annoying habit! i think he's just worried he'll miss out on something, or I'll disappear if he doesn't follow me around. i just make sure I'm within ear shot whilst he's eating.
try some more appetising food and wait till she's hungry before you feed her, that way she'll really want it whether you're there or not. and make sure you're other dog isn't waiting till you leave to steal her food!
