usually if 8-12 months goes by, you start to look into it. it can take a young healthy couple a year to get pregnant. You're trying to catch a 24 hour window... its not easy to do. Some women dont ovulate the same day each cycle, which makes it even harder.

My Dr sent me and my hubby for tests after a year. I think anywhere between 12 and 18 months is normally the time a Dr will recommend you get tests done. It's not the end of the world if there is a problem so don't be too afraid to go and see your Dr. One in four couples end up having to have some sort of assistance to conceive. Good luck.

About a year to a year and a half is where doctors will start checking for infertility. It took my DH and I 1 1/2 years to conceive due to simple things like stress/moving 2x etc.
