I can't install Kaaza or any other search engine because of a firewall.

My dear, there are no Websites that offer free download of music without a subscription. You have to subscribe from them. But since you want to download music for free, I suggest that you should have a P2P file sharing program. I recommend that you download Limewire v4.13 from this http://www.filehippo.com/download_limewi... , then have it installed. You might also going to need this http://www.filehippo.com/download_java_r... , to make it work. This P2P is very user friendly after you have installed it, you won't have hard time how to use it, believe me. Make sure that on your computer Firewall setting add Limewire to have access the internet and allow to act as a server. This is what Peer to Peer (P2P) file sharing is all about. Anyway don't be afraid because you'll be sharing only one folder to the Public (Limewire users and other P2Ps) they won't be able to access any part of your computer. This folder is where all your music (mp3) downloads will go and this the same folder, where other people will download from you (not the entire file but partial). So if you have music, pictures, movies, programs or any files that you want to share music to the people, just copy that music or any file and paste it to the shared folder.

I love music but downloading music may or may not be legal.
When you listen to music on the radio you are free to record it for
personal use. Same with listening to music on the Inet! Not illegal
to record for personal use!

well disable the firewall by going on to the contorl pannel and going to exception and telling it let kazza thourgh
