I saw on the news that Kramer was heckled for over ten minutes. One of the things that was said to him was, "you aint funny **** a" then when kramer replied with a witty retort the heckler replied with "You don't know me **** a, Don't fuc k with this **** a".

It also is being reported that the black guys who were calling kramer **** a and threatening him were also threatening the people who opened up the show for Richards..

Real innocent victims...? Seems like two punks who should've been bounced out before Richards ever hit the stage..

He was wrong for using the "N" word. He could of done it so differently. I think at first he was trying to come off as funny but that soured. The guy in the audience used the race card as well. I think he is getting a bad rap but at the same time he knows he was wrong. Granted those 2 audience guys were very mean spirited and pushed his buttons, but Mr. Richards could of been the bigger person and not said the "N" word. I think the club that he was in should of been responsible for kicking these guys out before this all started. Nobody mentions that the black guys called him a name or two. I think Mr. Richards was wronged by the club at least.

I dont agree with what Richards said in the 1st place, but people have a problem with the shock of hearing their beloved Kramer saying such words. Most people dont see the double standard. To me, it is one way or the other. You have a culture that has been fighting for years to be seen as an equal, but the same culture still allows themselves to use the N word all them time and not think twice about it. If they want to unify with the rest of the nation and be considered an equal, than allow the rest of the nation to use the N word without getting offended. Some people think that the African culture has a right to use the N word because the harsh times their ancestors have faced. I disagree. It is 2006. My European forefathers most likely faced harsh times as well, and I don't dwell on it. Never forget where your heritage comes from, but evolve and move foward if you want to be a part of the rest of modern times. I don't go balistic, if someone of another race scream's honkey, cracker, whitey etc.. I move on! I am in 2006 and the majority of my culture doesnt call each other honkey, cracker or whitey in public or private.

NO; you're repeating speculation aimmed at giving this guy a justification - where none exists. What comedian hasn't been heckled in his career, out of the heart's abundance the mouth speaks- he said what was in his heart. A secret hatred was exposed, just like Mel Gibson showed his true feelings about Jews. You simply have decided to ignore it and find fault with everyone else. I bet you think Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame and the Confederate Flag is a symbol of Southern Heritage -- Simply put SOPHISTRY.

The comment about the hanging with a fork in his butt was out of line. The fact that people are calling him a racist is kind of silly. If you consider someone to be racist because you call someone a ni$$a, cracker, spick, wet#a$k, charlie, mickey, white trash...then we all are.

I know technically white people can only be racist but the black guys were just as ignorant as richards when they called him a white *** cracker. He was stupid for going on Dave Letterman to apologize with jerry seinfeld. Speaking of Seinfeld...you dont tell whats funny and whats not you douche bag.

no matter what the other person does, there's no excuse for calling another person and racist or derogatory names. there's just no excuse for something like that. the two black guys may be wrong for heckling richards or other comedians. but these guys didn't call any of them any racist names. also, as a performer, he should expect to be criticized, booed or what not. this is what's wrong with "stars" now. they have big heads and can't take the heat.

After this happened different comics weighed in with their comments.

They all said a big part of doing stand-up successfully is being able to handle hecklers. They said Richards is fairly new to stand-up and he let them get to him.

Maybe he should have gotten some experience under his belt at smaller, less known clubs.

He was wrong.

i think he is foolishly flailing to salvage his career and he will probably make everything way worse for it I think he should shut the hell up He should just STOP. STOP APOLOGIZING NOW. "Those people" was ignant, for coming into the show making all kinds of noise "those people" usually are IGNANT. Remember when Jesse Jackson called New York Hymie Town? of course you don't cause he ignored it and it went away. thats all Michael Richards has to do. if black people don't want to go see him anymore white people still will,,everyone knows Seinfeld never was popular among the blacks anyway, they couldn't relate, I think they watched Martin or something equal to "their jive" on the WB.

This has gone way too far and yes, I think he's being wronged.
I also think he's a nut job - always has been, just take a look at his work in the past.
Fridays, was a show on CBS to compete with SNL, he was crazy then and he's crazy now.

The SEINFELD FRANCHISE is making $100 million a year in syndication.

People see this as a PINIATA. If they give a few wacks at it, some of the money might come down.

MICHAEL RICHARDS SHOULD CONTERSUE.
