Is it wrong to think that my parents are ugly?

Okay, I admit that some may have their own opinions of me, and my tastes in women, gorgeous- in regards to being shallow-but these same women mentioned are usually also smarter than the people making this opinion anyways-so what does THAT tell you? Anyways, from an EXTREMELY selective man, in every way, and with a VERY discerning eye, I must admit to you that the last person I saw who I considered "UGLY", was probably in 1982. And I am 41 now, so with that average, I maybe have seen two "UGLY" people in my whole life. So, I wouldn't say you are "wrong", per se, but are we even talking about looks?

It's not very nice, but it's normal for your age. Remember, though, that your parents made you, and as old, ugly, and stupid as you think that they are, they have advice that will make your life a lot easier if you listen to them.

Instead of thinking about how much your parents suck, try to remember the Christmases they gave to you, visits from the tooth fairy, and the baskets from the Easter Bunny. Try to remember the doctor's visits they sent you to because they wanted you healthy and happy, and the dental visits so that you could have a pretty smile.

If they're ugly, NOW, there's a very good chance that it is because they didn't have the money to do much for themselves because they were making sure that you had everything that you needed.

They may not be pretty on the outside, but they love you, which should make them the best looking people on earth to you.

One day, you'll see things differently.

Honey, they're the ones that made you. Your father's and mother's gene combined to make that unique you. Whatever it is that made you to come to that conclusion, I won't fault you, if that's what you genuinely feels. But think about what they have done for you. A parents' love transcend all worldly physical expectation. A father would jump into the middle of the tract with an oncoming train to pull out a child to safety, a mother would summon all her strength to lift a ox-cart to free her son. These act of love are recorded in history. One day, when you are a parent yourself, you will understand this.

I've known and heard about 2 "ugly" parents who conceived a beatiful child. The gene is in there in both of them but it has been dormant. I've heard of a certifiable dumb couples whom had a very bright son.

So whatever you are, love your parents for who they are, your parents.

No, it is not. As long as you don't tell them.

About five people have told me I look EXACTLY like my mother. I feel that she is ugly. The only similarities we have are our eye color, and hair color (when her's isn't died), and at the moment, our height, because I am not fully grown yet, and she is very short. I looke VERY Irish, and she looks more English. You may want to refrain from thinking your parents are ugly though, because then you'll feel terrible if someone says you look like them.

For me to think that yes because I haven't seen them, but for you to, actually I don't know...I never thought that about my parents because they are very kind and good looking, I mean look how I turned out, lol. Actually you can but, yeah I don't know.

no not at all sometimes my mother says she thinks i was swapped at birth and i say i agree because i am not as ugly as she is , we are only joking with each other though.
