Hi,

Can anyone give me advice on services to offer people at their
homes etc. (as a business venture?)

I've considered window cleaning and carpet cleaning but need to expand on options as these positions are common place and I would rather do something unique and relatively easy and cost effective to establish.

Cheers,Paul

If you are serious about doing something as a business venture, have you considered a business planning course? check out the website below for one you can do from home around your other commitments...

Hey people - the person asking the question is a Man not a women.

What couple is going to let a man come in to their home and allow him to wash & dry/fold laundry for them, iron, clean the house, watch the children, do dishes, while they are away at work.

This person can't hold a regular job, so now he wants to do something (work) from home, but it has to be easy and cost effective.
The real question is why can't you find work suited for a man. There's more then meets the eye here! A bell should be going off!!!

Have you tried going to school if your not educated or skilled in a trade. Come on the government needs your tax dollars.

I'd suggest anything to do with housework, as an awful lot of people don't have time to clean and iron properly if both partners are at work. The other service that seems to be popular, unless you are in the middle of a big city, is some form of gardening help, even if it's just mowing lawns and cutting hedges.

How about light housework like doing the dishes, sweeping, mopping,etc... You could do the lawn or light gardening. If they have a pool, you could do light maintenance. How about house sitting, if someone needs to go away or look after their pets and plants.

People always need painters and decorators and it is well paid. You don't have to advertise as people tend to recommend you to others. Also there is a shortage of them so you will never be short of work. Good luck.

I would pay someone to clean my windows inside. You could be an "inside" window cleaner!
