No, it's free and it's the only safe way to pay for anything on the internet! Go to PayPal and click on Sign Up,and then follow the instructions. They will send two small amounts to the checking or savings account you want to use, and when those amounts appear in your account, you go back to PayPal to confirm the amounts deposited. Once you have done that, your account is established. You can add a credit or debit card if you want to use them. Since this is Sunday, you couldn't expect the deposits to show up until tomorrow, or Tuesday.

Go to http://paypal.com and register - the registration directions are quite simple to follow. You need to link your paypal account with your checking acct (the directions tell you how). Paypal makes two small deposits in the account totaling about $0.35 or so. You check your account and let Paypal know what those two amounts are, that completes the registration. It costs a small percentage to send money, but nothing to receive it. You can set it up to draw the money from your bank acct to make payments, or you can draw money out yourself and pay debits from that. Money taken in from sales can be easily moved to your checking account.

in case you sell some thing and use PayPal to acquire charge, a small proportion of the transaction is taken out of what you're paid as a value to PayPal. in any different case that's loose. there is no cost to close your account.

It will not cost you anything to start a paypal account. It also doesn't cost any money to send money to someone. The fee comes when you want to receive money from someone. Hope this helps

All you have to do is go to www.paypal.com and sign up ...it is completely free to sign up and very useful if you do a lot of online purchases like ebay.
