I do every morning during the week days, but I don;t stay up all night. I get up at 4am, and have the windows open just to watch it come up. When it's close, I refill my coffee and go outside and say hello. ; )

When I was in 3rd standard in school... we went to visit Darjeeling (in India, it's the famous site for watching sunrise, it seems that sun is peeping through the peak of Everest). There I stood awake all night 'n disturbed my mom to watch the sunrise in the morning.

I have never done that... I want to do that in Bangladesh though if we go next year... They wake up at like 4:30 a.m.... I just want to wake up and watch the sunrise on the water... I'll get my digital camera by then and take lots of pictures to remember the Bangladesh sun, because the Delta sun is too freaking bright! :-)

No need for that. I wake up 90- 100 minutes before sunrise and never miss it, unless it is overcast.

i do it almost every day. I do sleep, but I set my alarm for like 4:30 and I creep down the stairs, open the front door as quietly as possibe, and I just watch the pretty golden light climp up the trees in my neighborhood. I like to stay there for a while because it is so relaxing, with no one to bother you, no one to pressure you, no one to make you feel self concious. I feel glorious when I go back in. It keeps me feuled with patience, serenity and happiness for the whole day.

About three years ago when I was an MP in the Army on night shift I would see them all the time. Some of them are awsome looking.
