Believe me, I understand the temptation- I probably hate them more than you do. All the "me too" "gotta keep up with the Jones' " people ran out and bought them, instead of opting for more traditional (and much more tasteful) decorations. Like we really need more tacky, oversized, Chinese made plastic crap in this country. Unfortunately, the others are right; it is vandalism, you can get arrested, and be forced to pay for the damage. THAT SAID, a sling shot may not do it, as these things are kept inflated with fans that run constantly since they are already full of leaks. You'd need to create a much larger hole in order to be effective.

You'll only get arrested if you're caught. So do it quietly. Slingshots are quiet so that's a great idea. And if you want a villain name, make sure you space out your assaults over a period of time. Try to resist the urge to kill 'em all at once. Soon you'll achieve Dee-globalization and have a cool serial globe-striker name! Good luck!

Yes of course you could get arrested but it would be a public service.
However I'm looking forward to seeing these around my neighbourhood as I think that they'll help provide windbreaks along my way home from work.
Goodness, they're tacky though. I saw one at the Canadian Tire a couple of weeks ago and started laughing like an ijit.

A BB gun would be more effective but yes you would get in trouble and possibly go to jail its called vandalism and disorderly conduct you could also get criminal trust pass because I would assume you would have to pretty much walk right up to the stupid thing to cause actual damage oh and think of how much those things cost you don't want to spend a good chunk of your newyear paying everyone back for ruining their property just ignore them and spend your money on better things, sorry you have so many to look at but it's not worth it just sit back and hope like hell that all their little motors burn out and they don't replace them..............by the way I do like them but I think people/stores go overboard with all that novelty crap and competition.....maybe one of the neighborhood cats or dogs will use them as scratching posts ;-)

I would join you, that sounds like fun. LOL As long as nobody is around, including animals, I would hate to hit someone with a sling shot. I say 'SLINGSHOT SANTA ALL THE WAY'

Yah go for it but do it at night.

I'm not a fan of any inflatable outdoor decorations, they seem a tad cheesy to me but to each his own I guess. As for destroying others property ,that's not cool or cute to me.Maybe the children of that home love their snow globes.
Don't be a Grinch.

In the end of it all, you're gonna do what you want to do. But if you want to know the truth, the answer's yes. If you get caught, you can get arrested. You're destroying other peoples property, so the cops can arrest you as well as fine you. It also seems petty to get in trouble for something like that. But hey, like I said, you're gonna do what you want to do.

Only if you're caught.
You'd probably have better luck with a pellet gun or something else less conspicuous as a slingshot.
