I just moved to texas from new england. I miss the snow more then anything. I call up my family in MA and they are all like :its so cold!" I dont even see my breath when I walk outside anymore! I am still wearing t shirts and havent turned the heat on yet. My family has all their wood chopped and the wood stove cranking! My son just turned one and I hate that he isnt going to be able to play in the snow for the first time. Christmas really doesnt feel right with out snow. So ive been burning alot of seasonal candles to try and make the mood a little more christmasy. Its helped a little but it still isnt the same...

I spent Christmas growing up mostly in Michigan, Colorado, and North Dakota. My dad got stationed in South Carolina, then Alabama. I hate not having snow at Christmas, and because I work retail, I am not allowed to take vacation during Christmas Holidays. It is so funny though, when people here in south Alabama fuss about the cold, but to be fair, it is a WET cold down here because of the humidity. Up north I could go outside with no jacket and be alright.

yes i know exactly how u feel. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, mostly raised in Providence, RI. I moved here to Miami about 2 years ago from Brooklyn and no matter how much time i give it i cant get used to the fact that as long as i stay here i wont get to see any snow. Its funny because once it hits about 55 - 60 degrees everyone out here looks like an Eskimo. lol... Not only do i miss the snow now during the holiday season but, I'm a winter baby born in the middle of December. good luck getting used to it. in the mean time just have fun making fun of people who are saying how cold it is and how they feel like their nose is going to fall off... that's what i do..

I dont like snow for Christmas. I remember when I turned 8 I got my first 10 speed bicycle for Christmas and there was 9 inches of snow on the ground! I was so mad that I couldnt ride my bike.
A few years ago we had snow on Christmas Eve and I couldnt get to my families celebration that night. Again, I was so mad.
That is why I do not like snow on Christmas.

I moved south and I miss the snow but my parents still live up in the north and I visit them for Christmas once every two years. I take advantage of the snow to the maximum when I go there.

I'm also from upstate NY and moved to the south! i know how you feel, there is nothing like waking up in the morning and everything be covered in a foot of snow. i haven't found any solutions besides good memories and pics of home. i hope you have a Merry Christmas even if its 60 degrees.

I live in Upstate NY right now, its chilly but worth it, when i lived in Santa Barbara Ca 6 years ago. We bought this stuff that you rub on the windows that looks like frost, and we made a fir on christmas, it loked like we were in Canada or something. The fake snow is a great idea.

I moved from PA to FL. I do not miss the snow. Not one bit. Christmas shopping in shorts and flip-flops is fine with me.
